Linux rambling

Linux has come a long way from it's roots in development. Right now it stands that if you get the right build, you will have a faster, and more simple os to use over windows anyday. But KDE isn't done. I was recently surprised at the beautiful look of kde 4.1, and how it is actually quite a bit more stable that it once was. I followed up on this today because I knew that kde would soon make linux the most beautiful os out there. Well, guys, kde 4.2 beta. Yep. Just one notch ahead and I already throw it at the top. Lets see some pictures.

Now, let me show you just how much windows was getting desperate to not let kde take the beautiful look.

Bwahahaha! Now a kde 4.2 image of it's beta version.

Windows no longer beats linux in beauty. I think this also beats mac. Just my opinion though.

I'm a bigger fan of GNOME personally. A linux front end shouldn't take 1 gig of RAM. And doesn't it get a bit much to have everything starting with a 'K'? ;-)
